The 2017 BUNGS Masters at took place on a warm sunny day at Ladbrook Park Golf Club in Solihull.

There were just seven of the qualifiers in attendance this year and the event was to be played over 28 holes, with 10 holes counting in the morning and 18 in the afternoon.

After the morning ten holes, Steve Hendy was in the lead on 20 points with Alan Heard, Karl Hughes and Ian Ronson all 2 shots back on 18.Adam Thompson had 16 and Alex Tolley and Steve Barkshire were bringing up the rear on 15 points.

Both Alex and Steve Barkshire had better afternoons and Alex's 32 points was enough to put him in third place overall on 47 points. Lunchtime leader Steve Hendy did not fair so well in the afternoon, scoring just 27 to also finish on 47 but beaten into third by Alex on countback.

The top two both scored a grand total of 51 points but it was Ian Ronson who triumphend ahead of Alan Heard with a better back nine, well played Ian.
