BUNGS Captain 2007
I have had a great year being
Captain and have enjoyed it immensely .
I wish to thank Steve for all his
efforts organising every golf day and
the members of the committee who have
assisted in collating the scores on the
golf days so that I handed out the right
prizes to the right people . We have
raised a fantastic
£655.70
this year and I am grateful to everyone
for their kind donations. Finally as
Captain, I would like to wish Foxy all
the best with his Captaincy in 2008.
I am
very happy to be elected Captain of
BUNGS for 2007. I have taken over from
James who did an excellent job and who
achieved a fantastic result in
collecting for his chosen charity. He
also managed to improve his golf proving
Captaincy can be good for your game.
We have decided on Macmillan Cancer
Support for our charity this year.
Further information can be found
opposite. I don't expect to achieve the
heights reached by James but I hope we
can raise a decent amount with your
help.
Again this year we are off to some great
courses with the highlight being our
weekend jaunt to Lytham. It should be a
great trip as always and hopefully I'll
be more successful than my last stint as
Opposing Captain.
Finally , my aim as Captain is to turn
up , play golf(hopefully in good
weather), have a laugh and a good day
out . Looking forward to shaking your
hands and handing out prizes.

very worthy charity for this year's
fund-raising. Macmillan Cancer Support improves
the lives of people affected by cancer,
providing practical, medical, emotional and
financial support and push for better cancer

We will again be collecting money from the
'charity bunkers' and would hope every BUNGS
member will be prepared to pay up their 50p when
entering a bunker on a par three. |
