driving range league

Thank you to all those who participated in the driving range league during January and February.

The competition was played in a league over 5 weeks and the top four players then proceeded through to a final. The results from the final were:

1st	Steve Lloyd	70 points
2nd	Jeff Thacker	69 points
3rd	Paul Jobbins	62 points
4th	Tim Thacker	60 points

The final was a close run thing and Jeff had his last putt of the competition to win, but just failed to topple Steve from the 'top of the perch'.

A thought must be spared for Paul Jobbins, who topped the league standings by a country mile. He was certainly the most consistent ~~bandit~~ player throughout the league stages, but failed to deliver in the final. The final league standings were as follows:
