with: 11 September We could do with some more people to attend the next golf day which is Mike Fox’s Captain’s Trophy, where we will be trying to raise some additional money for his chosen charity, Breast Cancer Care. If anyone else (who has not already contacted me) wants to attend or if anyone wants to bring along a guest, please Steve ASAP. As it is his Captain’s Day, Foxy will be providing some additional prizes, which it is proposed will go to the 1st three places in the afternoon round, the nearest the pins on the par 3’s, longest drive and last place. The winner of the morning practice round will also receive one of Mike’s prizes. Members will be asked to donate £1 for a support breast cancer pin which should be visibly attached to clothing or golf bag whilst on the course. This would be in lieu of the morning £1 pot. Any other donations for the charity during the day would be gratefully received as usual.
