Raising money for Breast Cancer Care
Hello boy's here's a few words from your new Captain, Foxy. I am very honoured to have been selected to be Captain for 2008. As with the previous captains, I hope to improve my golf -well maybe!

We seem to have a great selection of chosen venues for the year, with the highlight the yearly battle weekend! This year we are at Scarborough and I am really looking forward to the challenge and the great competitive golf.
My chosen Charity is Breast Cancer Care this is very close to my heart having lost someone through this awful disease. I sincerely hope we raise a fair amount through our golf days. Breast Cancer Care is the UK's leading provider of information, practical assistance and emotional support for anyone affected by breast cancer. Every year they give direct support to over 22,000 people with breast cancer or breast health concerns through our helpline, peer support and other direct services. We will again be collecting money from the 'charity bunkers' and would hope every BUNGS member will be prepared to pay up their 50p when entering a bunker on a par three.
Finally, my aim as Captain is to enjoy each golf day, meet and greet everyone, then shake the hands and give out the goods to the worthy winners.
