The society is always on the look-out for new members to come and join us. The only criteria with regards membership is that you should not really be a complete beginner. Although we'd like to be able to invite players of all abilities to join, as we can get large attendances and tend to play at top quality and difficult venues on our golf days, we feel it is important that members can get round the course at a decent pace, something people who've only just taken-up the game cannot usually do.

As a general rule, if you can shoot 100 or less then you would be welcome to join, we are only trying to discourage complete beginners and admission is at the discretion of the committee, subject to the applicants playing ability.

Society membership costs £20 per year and this covers the running costs of the society including registration fees with the English Golf Union, stationery, postage etc as well as subsidising some of the golf days.

You can, however, have the current season's membership free of charge.  This will enable you to come to some of our society events to 'check us out'.
